DEBRAH K. FRIZZELL


Ms. Frizzell began her education in both the United States and Europe, as a result of her father's career in the United States Army. In 1975, she graduated from Union University, and began her career as a teacher. Ms. Frizzell earned her J.D. from the Nashville School of Law (formerly the YMCA Law Night School) in 1986, while operating her own business.

Ms. Frizzell's over 30 years of law practice has included plaintiff litigation, workers' compensation, criminal defense, and every aspect of family law. She has also served as a "Special Judge" in the Sumner County Juvenile Court on several occasions

Rule 31 Mediation

Mr. Frizzell frequently serves as an expert witness, both for plaintiffs and defendants, in civil rights claims against government agents/agencies, individual offenders, and others, both in State and Federal courts.

Ms. Frizzell is a Rule 31 Mediator in family law, with an extremely high success rate in mediating very difficult family controversies and over 21 years of experience.


Today, her practice focuses on mediation, divorce, child custody, support matters, adoption, parenting matters, and individual and family estate planning.


Ms. Frizzell also taught Conflict Resolution as an Associate Professor at Union University in Hendersonville, TN.

2011: Recognized for her many years of service to the Teen Court of Sumner County, TN, as a member of its Board of Directors.

TERRY S. FRIZZELL


Terry Frizzell graduated Summa Cum Laude from Liberty University with a degree in Justice Administration and Business Administration. Mr. Frizzell served the State of Tennessee for 35 years, serving 3 years in the TN Department of Correction, and 32 years in the Hendersonville Police Department, including 28 years as a Police Investigator, Detective, and Police Administrator. In 2010 Mr. Frizzell retired as the Chief of Police.

Mr. Frizzell graduated from the FBI National Academy in 1990 and earned his J.D. from the Nashville School of Law in 2002. He has practiced law since 2003.

HIS PRACTICE

Mr. Frizzell utilizes a lifetime of law enforcement training and experience to represent clients who are wrongly or improperly charged with criminal offenses, in both the State and Local courts . He also represents clients in civil rights claims in Federal courts. He has had successes for Plaintiffs in Civil Rights suits. Mr. Frizzell also handles those who are seriously injured in automobile, truck, bus and motorcycle crashes, or in other personal injury situations.  He has had successes in Auto, Truck, and Bus cases for Plaintiffs.

SAMANTHA K. GROSLAND


Samantha K. Grosland joined the firm in 2008. Ms. Grosland received her undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 2003, and her law degree from the Nashville School of Law in 2007.
